We all have designs in our stash that just do not look right for one
reason or another. If you have been thinking "how can I fix this
design" then this is the lesson for you. With this Editor Editing
Lesson I will show you how to move "stitches" around in the Editor
without having to know how to digitize or even own a digitizing
program. I will show you how to correct an outline on a design and how
to change the plain fill of design to a fill that has a pattern to add
a little more interest, texture and dimension. This lesson was
produced using Embird Editor 2010 but any version will work for you.
This lesson is for the new user to Embird as well as the more seasoned
user. I will show you how to create this "in the hoop" coaster also.
All designs for the lesson to create the coaster are included as well
as the "in the hoop" appliqué instructions. You can create a whole set
of leaf coaster for table or coffee table or give them as a hostess
gift the next time you go to a friends for dinner.
In the upcoming Enhanced version of this lesson I will show you how to
add stitches to the designs that have holes in them without digitizing
the object. I will be showing how to create stitches to a letter that
I have digitized just for this lesson to fill in the imperfections. So
if you need to go further into fixing your designs you will want to
watch for the Enhanced Editor Editing Lesson.
You can purchase a cd of this lesson
